How to reach to Sasthamcotta, One of the Best tourist desitination in Kerala
Sasthamkotta is a serene village and is known for the fresh water lake located here. The lake surrounded by hills on three sides is the largest of its kind in the state. An ancient Sastha Temple in the village is a famous pilgrim centre.
Getting there:
Sasthamcotta is located in between NH-47 (Trivandrum - Salem) and MC Road (Trivandrum - Angamali).

In NH-47, from Kollam, take right turn from Chavara KMML.

The Route : Kollam - Chavara - Sankaramangalam - KMML - Panmana - Thevalakkara (Chenankara jn.) - Padappanal - Karali jn. - Sasthamcotta.
From Ernakulam side, Take left turn from Karunagappally.
Ernakulam (Kochi) - Alappuzha - Kayamkulam - Karunagappally - Mynagappally - Sasthamcotta.

In MC Road, If you want to come from Kottarakkara, take right turn from Kottarakkara pulamon jn. Puthoor - Bharanikav - Sasthamcotta. If you want to come from Adoor, Adoor - Manakkala - Kadampanad - Bharanikavu - Sasthamcotta is the best route.
